Right of Withdrawal, Returns, Exchanges & Warranty Claims
Right of Withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your order, in accordance with Norwegian consumer law. This applies regardless of the reason — you don’t need to explain why you want to cancel your purchase.
To use your right of withdrawal, please notify us within the 14-day deadline by emailing nils.s.ruud@gmail.com. The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging as far as possible.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund what you paid for the item, including the standard delivery cost. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
Exchanges
In addition to the right of withdrawal, AVEN offers a 30-day exchange policy if you’re not satisfied with your purchase. Contact us at nils.s.ruud@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your glasses, and we’ll find a solution together.
The glasses must be undamaged to be eligible for exchange.
Warranty Claims (Defects)
If your glasses have a defect that is not the result of normal wear and tear, you may file a warranty claim. Please contact us at nils.s.ruud@gmail.com as soon as you notice the issue, and include a photo of the damage so we can review your case quickly.
Warranty
AVEN provides a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects on all glasses.
Covered by the warranty:
• Manufacturing defects in the frame or lens
• Hinges that become loose or squeaky through normal use (not caused by drops or external impact)
Not covered by the warranty:
• Scratches on the lens (considered normal wear and tear)
• Cracks or damage caused by drops, pressure, force, or improper handling
• Hinges that are bent or broken due to external impact
• Wear and tear from normal use over time
How we handle warranty claims:
We review each warranty claim individually based on a photo or video of the damage. Please send us a description of what happened, along with a photo, to nils.s.ruud@gmail.com. Based on this, we’ll assess whether the issue is covered by the warranty.
AVEN reserves the right to determine whether damage is due to a manufacturing defect or external impact/accident.
