Right of Withdrawal, Returns, Exchanges & Warranty Claims

Right of Withdrawal

When you purchase from AVEN online, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under Norwegian consumer law. You do not need to provide a reason for cancelling your purchase.

The withdrawal period starts from the day you receive your order.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us within 14 days by emailing avenvisionn@gmail.com.

After notifying us, you must return the item without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.

You may examine the glasses as you would in a physical store. However, you may be responsible for any reduction in the value of the product resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functionality.

We will refund the purchase price and the cost of our standard delivery option. Any additional cost resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the item, provided that you were informed of this before placing your order.

We recommend returning the glasses securely packaged and keeping proof of postage.

Exchanges

In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, AVEN offers a 30-day exchange policy if you are not satisfied with your purchase.

To request an exchange, please contact us at avenvisionn@gmail.com within 30 days of receiving your glasses.

For an exchange under this voluntary 30-day policy, the glasses must be in undamaged and resalable condition.

The 30-day exchange policy is separate from and does not limit your statutory right of withdrawal or your statutory consumer rights.

Defective Products & Consumer Rights

If your glasses have a defect or do not conform to the agreement, you may have rights under Norwegian consumer law.

Please contact us at avenvisionn@gmail.com as soon as you discover the issue and include a description of the problem and, where possible, a photo or video.

Depending on the nature of the defect, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction, or cancellation of the purchase in accordance with applicable Norwegian consumer law.

Your statutory consumer rights apply regardless of any additional warranty offered by AVEN.

1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty

In addition to your statutory consumer rights, AVEN provides a 1-year manufacturer's warranty against manufacturing defects in our glasses.

Covered by the warranty

Manufacturing defects in the frame or lenses
Hinges that become loose or squeaky through normal use, provided this is not caused by an accident, drop, impact, or improper handling

Not covered by the warranty

Scratches caused by normal use
Cracks or damage caused by drops, pressure, force, accidents, or improper handling
Hinges that are bent or broken due to external impact
Normal wear and tear over time

Warranty claims are assessed based on the circumstances of the issue. We may request photos or videos to help determine whether the issue appears to be a manufacturing defect or damage caused by external factors.

The manufacturer's warranty does not limit any rights you may have under Norwegian consumer law.
